Simultaneous Multi-Resolution Imaging Based on Multi-Mode MIMO-SAR

This paper proposes a novel imaging mode which allows for the acquisition of SAR images with different resolution in single process, specifically designed multiple-input multiple-output synthetic aperture radar (MIMO-SAR). To achieve this, multi-mode array system model based on two-dimensional intra-pulse scanning is established, followed by division full signals into sub-aperture signals. Improved azimuth phase coding technology then employed to separate echo signals, and spatial filtering range digital beam forming are used remove ambiguity each mode. Finally, image coherent fusion algorithm generate high-resolution corresponding Simulation results show that improved can effectively multi-resolution characteristics effect verified.
